Limo service showed up early (yeah)
No traffic to the airport (yeah, yeah)
Check-in was a breeze (amazing)
And off I go -- first time traveling solo to a place I have never been. Thankfully I will be staying with friends (Erik and Pim) so it will put a new perspective on travel
Two flights (change planes in Tokyo-Narita), 22 hours flying time and 4 movies later (The Proposal, Up, Ice Age and Land of the Lost {makes xmas movie watching for kids}) I made it. The ride that was arranged for me was there and waiting (Yahoooo). Arrival date Sat 12/5/2009 - althought it was actually Sun AM.
The food on the plane was incredible (who knew) but within 2 hours of arriving on the 2nd flight my head kept screaming 'are we there yet? are we there yet?
